All paintings done on August 5th will be framed, not larger than 9” x 12” and delivered to Salem on the Edge in time to be hung on the Wet Paint Wall by 3pm READY FOR THE 5-8PM RECEPTION!

2023 ARTWORKS NORTHWEST BIENNIAL June 13th - August 18th

Umpqua Valley Arts presents The Artworks Northwest Biennial. This is a regional juried exhibition of work from artists who reside in the Pacific Northwest region (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, British Columbia, Western Montana, and Western Wyoming). Artworks for this exhibition are chosen by artist/curator Arvie Smith who resides/works in the Pacific Northwest whom UVA invites to lend their eye and voice to the exhibition. This year, the Artworks Northwest Biennial received a record number of entries from 295 artists across the region with over 700 works submitted. Out of those submissions, 112 works from 97 artists were selected to be exhibited in UVA’s galleries.
